Thank-you for visiting our parish on the Web. Welcome to St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada!

We are an inner-city parish of the Easternmost city in North America. St. John's is a colourful old town with a unique history closely associated with seafaring and the once-great Grand Bank fishery. People have been visiting our harbour for a long time. Some stayed, and brought with them a lively Christian Faith. Anglican Christians were among the first, and our parish is a daughter of the original Church of England parish formally established in 1699, now the Cathedral parish of our diocese.

St Michael's represents the Anglo-Catholic tradition within Anglicanism. We are known for formal, reverent, Eucharistic worship. We are committed to social outreach, and we enjoy a warm fellowship in Christ.

Please have a look around our web-site, which should give you a sense of who we are and what we are about. If you are visiting St. John's, come and worship with us, and please offer a prayer for our parish family.

May God richly bless you.
